Country Aircheck reports the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum had 5.5 feet of water in its basement. Water had risen to the third row of seats in the building’s Ford Theater. At the Bridgestone Arena where the annual CMA Awards and CMT Awards are staged, the floor surface is submerged. Much of the downtown area near the river is underwater, as the Cumberland River crested Monday at 51.9 feet, almost 12 feet above flood stage.
