Hooked on Country Dancin’ Demo Team is back again this year for another night of dosey doe dancing from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Gate B.
Mechanical Bull Riding
Grab your cowboy hat, put on your chaps, and hang on tight because a mechanical bull will be set up outside the Big Cat Court from 5:30-8:30 p.m.. Fans will see if they have what it takes to hang on for an 8-second ride like the pros.
Banjo players Neil Woodward and Rob Bourassa will be greeting fans with a little taste of country twang and bluegrass music when they enter the park at Gate C.
The Stolen Horses, Michigan’s premier country band, will be playing at Gate A from 5:30-6:45 p.m. This is your true country group of the north! If you would like to have so much fun that you will jump out of your cowboy boots, seeing this extremely high energy band is a must!
Papier-mache head farm animals from the Parade Company will be roving the concourse for pictures.
Country/western decorations will be displayed throughout the park from the Display Group.
One lucky fan in the ballpark will win a [lastfm]Jamey Johnson[/lastfm] Autographed Guitar, while another will win an “I’m Moving On” autographed book by [lastfm]Rascal Flatts[/lastfm]. The first 7,500 fans in the park will receive a Tigers “Stars & Stripes” bandana courtesy of Rose Pest Solutions.
