Yes…they are doing ‘ it’…..AND they are still texting while driving, talking on their cell, eating, and driving while distracted with a bunch of friends in the car. How can we, as parents, possibly discourage them from this dangerous practice?
Nearly ninety percent of teenage drivers are still engaging in distracted-driving behaviors such as texting or talking on a cell phone even though they know that their actions increase their risk of crashing. The FACTS are: Almost 6,000 highway deaths each year involve distracted driving.
