texting while driving rs Teenagers Are Still Doing It!

Yes…they are  doing ‘ it’…..AND they are  still texting while driving, talking on their cell, eating, and driving while distracted with a bunch of friends in the car. How can we, as parents,  possibly discourage them from this dangerous practice?

Nearly ninety percent of teenage drivers are still engaging in distracted-driving behaviors such as texting or talking on a cell phone even though they know that their actions increase their risk of crashing. The FACTS are: Almost 6,000 highway deaths each year involve distracted driving.

Do YOU have any advice on how to stop teens from doing this?

Someone needs to come up with a device that will automatically disable the vehicle unless your cell phone is turned off when the engine is running. If someone takes my idea and creates a device, remember where you heard about the idea.
