lionslose e1284369860543 Poll: Were The Lions Robbed?

Touchdown? No touchdown? We want to know what YOU think.

Calvin Johnson’s touchdown reception in the Lions – Bears game was called back. Officials say he didn’t maintain control of the ball all the way through the reception. New rule, this year, says a receiver pretty much has to stand up with the ball for it to be considered a touchdown. However, a runner just has to get the ball across the goal line. After that, it doesn’t matter. Figure that.  Anyway, we want to know what you think.

  2. Patty says:

He crossed the line, ball in hand. Thats a touchdown.
If thats a new rule, we`ll be seeing alot of this all season.
What a shame they have to mess with something that wasn`t broke!

  3. Patty says:

We were robbed and beat up! They only get a 15 yd. penalty for hitting Stafford from be hind when he didn`t have the ball?!
He should get fined for that! He delibrately tried to hurt him!!

  4. Wayne says:

If you use the call in the Super Bowl last year when Lance Moore caught the TD that was reviewed as a ref., then it was definataly a TD.
