Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook

Photo fanatics like me rejoice! Facebook, the #1 place where we share our digital photos, has changed and we can now upload ‘higher resolution’ photos.

Photos typically load on Facebook fairly quickly, but that’s because only ‘super low-resolution’ renditions of your photos are posted. Now Facebook has changed it’s rules slightly, allowing for uploads in slightly higher resolution.

What this means for you is:  The posted pictures are still lower resolution than what comes out of your camera, but Facebook says the quality will be fine for a 5×7 or 8×10 photo print.

Do you share a ton of pics on Facebook? What photos should NOT be shared on Facebook?
