I felt so silly standing in line last night in Rite Aid, with a bag of prescriptions, a bottle of mouth-wash and a six-pack of Sam Adams ‘Octoberfest.’
It just hit me like a ton of bricks! Rite Aid is a pharmacy. Yet like most drugstores, they sell alcohol and tobacco. What’s wrong with this picture? Isn’t the reason were getting prescriptions is because we used too much alcohol and tobacco in the first place? I asked the check out girl last night, what was the strangest combo of goods she ever sold at the cash register? She said, a woman came in last week and bought a pint of vodka and a home pregnancy test! Go figure.
Whats the strangest combo you’ve ever bought?
