Remember when mom and dad said to check your Halloween candy because the crazy man down the street could have tampered with it? If you were me, you would just eat with no remorse. This year, there are a few things even I would watch out for…
This year there are a few different Halloween candies that are being recalled. I have the scoop on what to watch out for.
Hershey’s put a recall out on their bit size York pieces because they may contain small pieces of metal. The affected items have the UPC 34000-11435-000 and production code beginning with the characters 27 or 28. If you have purchased the item in question, contact Hershey Consumer Relations at 1-800-468-1714.
Raisinets fun size bags (10 oz) have been recalled as well. The production code information is 02015748/UPC number 2800010255. The complaint here is that there have been complaints of people finding peanuts in the candies. Consumers are being urged to contact Nestlé Consumer Services directly at 1-800-478-5670 for a full refund and discard any remaining packages
