As a licensed cosmetologist I know for a fact, that most men, if they had the money, would pay any price to prevent hair loss! What about the ladies…would you pay $35,000 for a lifetime of good hair?
A new survey suggests many women already do. Research conducted by OnePoll showed that women spent an average of $35,000 throughout their lives on their hair. They also lost a year of their lives, collectively, styling it.
The average woman spends about $195 a year on haircuts and $260 on color. If the average woman starts paying for cuts (around $39 a pop) and color ($65 a pop) from age 25 to about 80 years of age, that would mean you spend only about $20,000. Factor in $120 for styling products and $160 for shampoos. That would put you at about $35,000 a year on hair care.
44% of women admit that their mood is affected by a bad hair day…does a ‘bad hair day’ ruin your entire day?
