The Bridgestone Arena and Nashville were very ready for [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Garth Brooks [/lastfm]to kick off his first 2 opening shows out of 9 slated for flood-relief. Garth held a press coneference to show that ‘Nashville is up and running again.’
In October, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Garth Brooks[/lastfm] had announced that he would do shows in Nashville to benefit the flood-relief. On Nov. 3, all 9 shows sold out in four hours. Garth is quite excited for the shows:
“We just said we’ll sell tickets as long as we have people wanting them,” Brooks said at a preconcert news conference on Thursday.
“I’m very proud to be a part of this. You say things, not knowing what will really happen. Nashville is one of the hardest markets to sell concert tickets. I can’t tell you how big this whole thing has gotten and how lucky I feel to be a part of it,” he said.
I am wondering how many attendant of the shows will post video from the concert on Youtube. If I can find at least one person, you better believe I will provide you with exclusive content![photogallerylink id=50488 align=left]
