Coming towards the end of our coverage of the Academy of Country Music Awards, it is the turn of Jason Aldean to go under the watch of Trends.

With two nominations in two of the most coveted awards, what indication do his recent scrobbles give to his chances of winning?

Entertainer of the Year and Top Male Vocalist are the two categories hosting Aldean’s chances of glory – categories which will provide stern competition for all involved.

Aldean’s 2010 album My Kinda Party has been scrobbling well since its release in November last year, taking in 131,766 scrobbles to date.

His most scrobbled track last week, with 3,735 listeners, was “Amarillo Sky”, which makes for optimistic reading when comparing to his fellow nominees.

Blake Shelton, who goes up against Aldean in the Top Male Vocalist category, saw 2,711 listeners of his most scrobbled track “Ol’ Red”, whilst Toby Keith had just 1,949 listeners of his most popular track “Beer For My Horses”
