Nobody should have to choose between taking care of a seriously ill loved one, or paying the electric bill. If you love bowling, here is a way for you to have lots of fun and help a local family in need at the same time! A bowling fundraiser scheduled for this Friday, May 13th at 7 pm at Belmar II Bowling Center in Trenton!
Jeffrey W. Roppel is a 43 year-old Woodhaven resident, husband and father who was stricken with Acute Myelogenous Lueukemia and is currently undergoing a bone marrow transplant at Karmanos Cancer Center. His recovery is expected to take many months. The family is in dire financial straits. Jeff’s wife, Susan Roppel must take time away from her full-time job to care for him and be with him as he struggles for his life, leaving them with no income at all. No monetary public assistance is currently available to this family.
No one should have to choose between providing necessary care and a catastrophically ill spouse and paying the bills to survive. Please join Jeff’s family & friends this Friday, May 13th at 7 pm at Belmar II Bowling Center in Trenton. Only $20 per person, with 50/50 and raffles galore!
If you are unable to attend the Bowling fundraiser this Friday, you can also make a donation to help this family in their time of need by making a donation in a special account that has been set up at any PNC Bank location! Please help if you can, no donation is too small.
Donations can be made at any PNC Bank branch to the Jeffrey Wayne Roppel Catastrophic Illness Fund.
