Chalk this one up as being at the right place at the right time! Did someone save your life….or did you save someones life because you were ‘in right place at right time?’
A Maine cardiologist and a team of nurses are being credited with saving the life of a heart attack victim, but it wasn’t in an emergency room. Dr. William Phillips was giving a lecture this week on heart disease at the Central Maine Medical Center when he was interrupted by a man complaining of chest pain.
The man then collapsed and had no pulse when one of the three cardiac nurses grabbed a defibrillator to help restart the man’s heart. Meanwhile, paramedics arrived and took the patient to the emergency room.
What’s your best experience of being ‘at the right place, at the right time?’
