In 2007 19-year-old Amber Brock was excited about the next step in her life—college! She suddenly became very sick and she and her family got the worst news of their lives—Amber had Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Amber’s response was “I’m going to beat this monster.” The doctors said they had never seen anyone with such a positive attitude, Amber was one of a kind, a truly amazing girl. Despite her positive attitude and valiant fight, Amber lost her battle with A.L.L. in July 2008. In loving memory of Amber, her family continues to fight on behalf of those who are currently battling for their life, with their annual “Amber’s Angel’s Bowling Fundraiser’, being held on Saturday August 13th in Plymouth.
