It seemed everything was down and out for the Howard family, when their son Eli was diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer, and it was stage 4.  And at 11-years-old, many people would think he would have given up on hope a this point, but he hasn’t.  And that is exactly why he was named honorary team captain of the Cincinnati Reds!

It has been a year since Eli was diagnosed with kidney cancer, and after showing just how strong of a fighter he is, he not only got to go on the field before a recent game at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, but he was honorary team captain!  And after his most recent set of blood work, he got back some great news!Vodpod videos no longer available.
