Nate Smith made an amazing shot as part of a raffle at a local hockey game.  There was a 3 inch slot that he had to shoot a hockey puck through, and he would score $50,000!  While he made the shot, his name wasn’t the one that was called!

While Nate made this amazing shot, the only problem is, his name wasn’t the one that was called. The name they read off was that of his twin brother, Nick!

The insurance company should not pay. They should however, in good faith waive the insurance fee for the contest organizers and that fee should go to the boys. (They were prepared to spend it anyway.) That’s probably about $1000-1500 for the boys and everybody still learns the right lesson and nobody is out any more than they would have been if the shot was not made.
