With just a few days until the WYCD Beach Bash and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm]’s Goin Coastal Tour, Downtown Detroit is gonna be buzzing when [mp3com-artist]Kenny Chesney[/mp3com-artist], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Zac Brown Band[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Uncle Kracker[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Billy Currington[/lastfm] take Detroit by storm! To get you in the mood, I’m gonna give you the Top 5 videos from [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm]! I know it will be difficult to narrow it down to five, but at the end take the poll and tell us what YOUR favorite Kenny video is!In 1999, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm] released “Everywhere I Go” and that album went double platinum. The 3rd single off that album is She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy, which went gold selling over 500,000 copies of the single alone!

Off his 2007 album, which is his 8th platinum record, “Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates” is one of Grunwald’s favorite songs, Shiftwork. The song is a honest representation of hard working blue collar people and also show how hard Americans work to achieve the “American Dream.” [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]George Strait[/lastfm] is on the track with Kenny, and the song charted even before it was released as a single.

When “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem” came out in 2002, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm] knew that he had himself a real good album. I think he did alright as the album went Quadruple Platinum! Kenny says of Big Star, which peaked at #2 on the US Country Charts, “This is a fun song. It’s every little girl’s fairy tale – and for some, it even does come true. But it’s not all happily ever after. That line, ‘All the neighbors swear she slept her way to the top/ But she knows you don’t get where you’re going unless you got something they ain’t got…,’ I love that because it shows you that you can make it in spite of other people refusing to believe in your dream.”

“Hemingway’s Whiskey” came out in 2010 and has produced three #1 records including Boys Of Fall. The song talks about playing high school football. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm] says the song “is a perfect description of how I grew up and where I grew up.” The music video debuted on August 2, 2010 on ESPN’s SportsCenter. The video features many famous football players and coaches talking about their experiences playing high school football and advice they would give to kids.

Finally, another off “Hemingway’s Whiskey”, You and Tequila which features [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Grace Potter[/lastfm] was originally recorded by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Deana Carter[/lastfm] back in 2003 where Kenny first heard the song while he was opening for Deana.
