Love him or hate him, Ashton Kutcher is one of the most talked about men in Hollywood, and this before he scored the role in Two and a Half Men.  Ashton seems to be the king of Twitter, and is one of the main reasons that Twitter seemed to catch on.  But something he did, or didn’t do, may be getting him in trouble.

According to Yahoo, Ashton was asked to use his expertise on social media to be a guest editor of the online edition of “Details,” entitled “The Social Issue.”  The article he wrote was about different media companies.  The only problem is that Ashton forgot to disclose he has invested in a handful of these companies.  They have a bit of conflict of interest on their hands that might even trigger an investigation of the Securities and Exchange Commission.  The editor of Details doesn’t seem to be worrying though:

“If you read Ashton’s editors letter, you’ll see he succeeded in his mission to get people to talk about and even criticize this social issue. I stand by how we communicated Ashton’s involvement with some of the companies included in our coverage and remain extremely proud of the work we did on this project.”
