Well, in this case, it looks to be a draw. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm] was forced to move up his Boston show at Gilette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts to avoid the quickly approaching Hurricane Irene, the FINAL shows of his “Goin’ Coastal” Tour.
The show that was scheduled to be the final show on Sunday has now been canceled and rescheduled for Friday, leaving Saturday as the final show of the tour. Get it?
While this is definitely the right thing to do, many fans who planned to make the trip are angry about not having enough time to reschedule their trips.
However, why risk the safety of the concert goers or Kenny (HELLO, outdoor stage + hurricane force winds). He has definitely made the right move.
Fans that cannot attend the earlier scheduled Friday show can get a refund.
“I want the last weekend of the ‘Goin’ Coastal’ Tour to be a great expierence for everybody. But I also want it to be the safest experience for everyone. I’ve always said Foxboro is a highlight of our tour, because the fans are ready for a great night of music and fun no matter what night it is!”
[photogallerylink id=102824 align=left]We agree with everything except about the fans of Foxboro. Everyone knows Motor City fans are the best!
