How would you like to own the most famous ‘film prop’ in movie history? The famed “Ruby Red Slippers” that Judy Garland wore as ‘Dorothy’ in The Wizard Of Oz, are on the auction block – again, this time with an estimated price of $2 – $3 million!  OK…maybe that’s a bit too rich for our blood, but how cool would it be to even try them on! Check out my husband Jeff  (above) sporting his size 13,  ‘custom-made Ruby Red Slippers‘ that I made for him a few years back for Halloween!! The slippers – one of only 4 pair made for the movie in 1939 – are being auctioned December 16 in L.A., and auction house Profiles in History owner Joe Maddalena told media he was expecting bids from all over the world.

“This is the most important film prop in the world. There is nothing more famous,” he declared.

WOW…maybe I should auction off my husband Jeff’s ‘Dorothy” shoes! Any bids over $500 will be seriously considered! But that will not include his custom-made, blue & white gingham dress in men’s size XL! LOL…
