Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw kick off their “Brothers of the Sun Tour” tomorrow night in Tampa. This tour is going to be one of the great tours of this year, putting two of country music’s powerhouses together for a crazy stadium tour that will make for some great moments and a whole lot of fun! Tim McGraw says,  “I’ve got a new record label and a full tour schedule, and I’m coming in loaded with some brand new songs. I definitely feel a sense of renewed energy. Everyone has been asking me about new music, but I’ve been pretty tight-lipped up until now. Saturday night in Tampa, the cat will be out of the bag.” For those of you lucky enough to get a ticket to highly anticipated show, Tim McGraw offers you some insight on what you can expect when you walk into the show. Tim says, “Just come in and have fun just sort of take the experience in for what it is, you know? Kick back enjoy the music understand that it’s you know, something that you rarely get to see we’re two guys at the top of their game going out and sort of pouring everything out for ya.”

Kenny Chesney is also excited for the new tour. He knows that the lineup of artists this summer is pretty strong. He says, “The fact that we got the people out there on the road that we have, you know, obviously with my friend Tim McGraw, who I’ve got a long history with, who people have been living with our songs for a while now, and to be able to balance those worlds and combine both worlds onto one stage is gonna be very special for everybody. And to have Grace (Potter) come up there every night and, you know, pardon the pun, but she adds a lot of grace to the stage. And I’m very proud of Jake (Owen), too, because Jake has I think gotten himself into a spot where he has a chance to not just have some songs on the radio, but to make a real difference in people’s lives, you know, and he’s cutting some songs now that can do just that.”

This is also a huge step and opportunity for Jake Owen. This is his first time touring with Kenny Chesney and he knows that this could be the moment where everything changes. Jake says, “I’m pretty excited. I’ve waited on this moment for quite some time, not only to go out with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw — and Grace Potter, who’s amazing — but just to be playing stadiums full of people is something that…you know, after a…what’s after a stadium? Really! I don’t know how much bigger you can actually get than that, so it’s a pretty awesome opportunity for me to get out there and do my thing in front of a bunch of people and gain a few more fans and just keep at it.”
