The star-studded extravaganza that was the 2012 CMT Music Awards took over Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena last night, and what a grand celebration of country music it turned out to be. Among all the performances, jokes from the hosts (Toby Keith and Kristen Bell), and appearances by many more artists as presenters, were, of course, the fan-voted awards themselves.

Carrie Underwood landed the coveted Video of the Year award for “Good Girl.” Female Video of the Year went to Miranda Lambert for her moving “Over You” video, while Male Video of the Year belonged to Luke Bryan for I Don’t Want This Night to End.”

Group Video went to Lady Antebellum for “We Own the Night,” while Duo Video award winner was Thompson Square for “I Got You.”

Further winning videos from last night include (“The Trouble with Girls” (Scotty McCreery), “Remind Me” (Brad Paisley with Carrie Underwood), and “Tattoos on This Town” (Jason Aldean).
