Taylor Swift has kept it classy, and has never confirmed whether her song “Dear John” is about John Mayer, but the musician certainly thinks it is – and he’s not a fan. “It made me feel terrible,” Mayer, 34, tells Rolling Stone in its latest issue. “Because I didn’t deserve it. I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that.” Swift, 22, is known for writing songs about her exes, and in “Dear John,” she sings, “Don’t you think I was too young to be messed with?” I for one am not feeling sorry for cry-baby Mayer…reminds me on Carole King’s song, “You’re So Vain!”
Taylor was already well-known for turning her feelings into songs and as a fellow songwriter I think he was fair game. John Mayer is a grown man and is a well-known for being a ‘player!’ He needs to man up and let bygones be bygones. You hurt the girl and she revealed her feelings in a song, and now you are gonna ditch her AGAIN in this Rolling Stone article?
My thoughts are that John Mayer needs to grow up and ‘get over himself!’ He says he ‘felt terrible’….but not because he crushed a young girls heart, again, it’s ‘all about HIM’ and in my opinion he’s a heartless jerk!
But in the end it’s true, people ‘get what they deserve’ with Taylor’s red-hot career still going strong, and cry-baby player boy unable to sing due to vocal issues. Too bad his’ vocal issues’ did not include total laryngitis!
Here’s another song by Taylor, that I am dedicating to “Mean” crybaby players everywhere!
