With it being the middle of summer, it is also the middle of a wonderful cookout season! I love breaking out the grill so much, I have even tried grilling in the winter! And since I love grilling so much, I tend to eat a lot off the grill during the summer. And since I am trying to stay healthy, I have found a few things I can throw on the open fire to eat great, but still try to stay fit!
Thanks to Yahoo, I have found a few healthy things for my next bbq! Even though I have never really tried them, I will be trying turkey dogs instead of hot dogs next time. While they might not be EXACTLY the same, I’ve heard they taste pretty good, and they are only 45 calories!
And for snack stuff, I will be doing with pretzels and salsa! Pretzels are much better for you than chips and salsa is much better than a ranch. And when it comes to drinks, there is one that is much better than the rest! Now, I love lemonade. But it’s really not that good for you. And I could use artificial sweetners, but they just don’t do it right. I have been drinking ice cold water with a squeeze of lemon juice in it. It might not be lemonade, but it’s quite refreshing!
