A lot more people are joining Pinterest, and sharing great ideas for ‘do-it-yourself’ projects, home decorating, recipes and now a way to help the homeless with a ‘blessing bag!’ Our WYCD webmaster Nanci Haskin found this ‘how-to’ idea on Pinterest and spent the weekend making up several ‘blessing bags’ that she will be keeping in her car and handy if she runs into a homeless person on the street. Instead of giving money to someone in obvious need, this is a great way to offer some help and each bag costs less than $10, yet still full of goodies and items that a homeless person could surely use too! Here’s a list of items and suggestions to make your own’ blessing bags!‘
Thanks and God bless Nanci Haskin for sharing this with us too!

Since I am leaving these in my car, the food inside can’t be “heat sensitive.”
What a GREAT way to help those in need, and like Nanci says: Pay It Forward!
