Is the ‘goodnight kiss’ really becoming a thing of the past? Sadly, maybe it is.  Research into our nocturnal habits suggests romance is dying. Indeed, a quarter of us say they cannot bear our spouse’s touching us while we are sleeping. The sleep behavior study found that 54 percent of us choose to turn away and sleep with our backs to their spouse in a bid to get a good night’s sleep. Is getting a good nights sleep more important that showing affection to your partner? Other romantic gestures going to the wayside…..

And it isn’t just cuddling that’s off the agenda as 90 percent of couples don’t utter the three important words ‘I love you’ before turning out the lights.

And eight in ten couples no longer kiss before nodding off.

Do you wish your partner would kiss you goodnight and say “I Love You” every night?
