Larry Eckhardt, also known as“Larry The Flagman,” has been traveling across the country on his own personal mission, to honor our fallen soldiers in the most heartwarming way I have ever seen. For the families who have lost their loved one while serving their country, I can only imagine how this makes them feel during a time of such sorrow and grief. Eckhardt usually arrives the day before a fallen soldier is to arrive home for their funeral. Larry along with enlisted volunteers then line the streets in that soldiers hometown for miles and miles with flags in honor and in memory of these brave soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Watch this ‘feel good story of the day‘ which was featured on CBS Sunday Morning and see for yourself what an amazing tribute this is and how much it means to these grieving families…

This is truly a heartwarming story, about how one person can make such a huge difference to so many.

God bless Larry The Flagman, you are an inspiration!
