I know a lot of ladies who spend more time planning their ‘Black Friday‘ shopping strategy, than they do on shopping for and preparing the traditional Thanksgiving dinner! And for anyone who is doing all the cooking, it takes a lot of time to plan the menu and cook all the side dishes and desserts! Since I know that our time is precious this time of the year, I thought it would help if you knew what items are really not worth buying on Black Friday, so as you plan your shopping strategy you will not be wasting your time standing in line for these items that will most likely not be the ‘best deals’ of the season….
Here are a few items that are not worth buying this Black Friday:
Toys – Many will likely still be discounted for Black Friday, and it may feel pretty good to get your shopping done early, but you won’t love that sinking feeling you’ll get when you see those toys discounted for less about two weeks before Christmas.
Brand Name HDTVs – Black Friday is an excellent time to invest in a new HDTV but don’t expect the best deals to be tagged with name brands. Typically, the rock-bottom prices will mostly apply to third-tier manufacturers.
Christmas decorations – Christmas decor tends to end up in-cart on impulse buys. Sure, that string of lights or holiday wreath might be on sale, but deals on Christmas items get better the closer we get to the holiday itself — and of course are the best after the holiday.
So keep this in mind, and keep more cash in your wallet for a few weeks down the road when you can REALLY score a smokin’ deal on these items!

According to a survey conducted by Accenture, 53% of consumers say they plan to shop on Black Friday, up from 44% last year.
