I smell another TV special coming soon! When Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum were married last Saturday in Pasadena, California, they were surrounded by family, friends, and Bachelor alumni including Ali Fedotowsky, Emily Maynard, and Jason and Molly Mesnick. The couple said “I do” in an outdoor ceremony officiated by show host Chris Harrison!  Seriously?? There must be a TV special in the works, because having a TV reality show host officiate at your wedding, is like having Dr. Don officiate at your wedding. But wait…Doc officiated MY wedding, so maybe this is on the up & up!

Ashley and J.P. are only the second couple in the history of the Bachelor or Bachelorette series to make it from the final rose to the altar. I am sure all the other couples had high hopes at the ‘final rose’ ceremony when they became engaged on national television. After all, one of the very first Bachelorette couples, Trista & Ryan Sutter did tie the know and have been happily married since couple were married on December 6, 2003. They also have 2 children together, 5-yr.-old son Maxwell, and 3-yr.-old daughter Blakesley!

Have you and your spouse ‘beat the odds’ when everyone said it would never last?
