Everyone deserves a second chance, and if you are talented and famous, sometimes you got lots of ‘second chances!’ Charlie Sheen and Robert Downey Jr. and both prime examples of other Hollywood actors who struggled with addiction issues and real-life drama, yet seem to be doing well and keeping on the straight and narrow path with their latest ‘second chance’ in the movie and television business. Lindsey Lohan will soon get another ‘second chance‘ to get her life and career back on track with a has a guest host gig that is waiting for her when she gets out of her latest stint in rehab….
Just a few days after she’s scheduled to end her court-ordered stay in rehab, Lindsay Lohan will guest-host E!’s late-night talk show, “Chelsea Lately.” The network announced Monday that the actress, 27, will helm the show on August 5th. E! says that Li-lo will interact with sidekick Chuy Bravo, interview an as-yet-unnamed celebrity guest, and run the roundtable, in which three guests and/or show staffers chat about current pop culture.
This gig is best suited for someone quick-witted and fast on their feet, so we will see just how well Lindsey is doing next week. She really is a very talented actress, who derailed her promising career due to her drug and alcohol and personal issues in the past 5 or so years.
I believe that everyone deserves a ‘second chance’ or 3rd, or 4th, or whatever it takes to get their life together and I never give up hope for those who struggle with addiction. I really am rooting for 27-year-old Lindsey, who is still so young and has not really had a great family support system. So I truly hope and pray hope that she can get back on track! ~Linda Lee
