There are two things that EVERY stereotypical American is struggling with:  Their WEIGHT and their DEBT.  So . . . which is WORSE?  A new survey asked people if they’d be willing to put on 25 POUNDS if it meant having all their debt wiped out.  What do you think people in America said?

According to the survey, 72% of people said . . . NO CHANCE.  They’d rather keep their debt and their slightly skinnier body.  So I guess our chubbiness bothers us more than our credit issues?  (They didn’t say whether you had the option of LOSING the weight afterward, or whether it was PERMANENT. Obviously that changes things. We assumed you had to keep the weight FOREVER.)   And believe it or not, WOMEN were more likely than men to say they’d rather gain weight than have debt.
