Kid Rock has been mixing his own special variety of country, rock  & hip hop “Forever,” and by doing so has been pretty successful at pulling in fans from very different genre’s of music! There are country music ‘purists’ who hate the idea and all the songs that incorporate a little hip-hop into country music. Cowboy Troy calls himself a ‘hick-hop’ artist, and Colt Ford has a unique style and often brings in country artists to sing the chorus on his tunes, and I personally LOVE it! How about YOU? Want a little hip-hop in your country?

Florida Georgia Line also likes that idea, as evidenced by their hit collaboration with Nelly on the “Cruise (Remix).” The duo’s Tyler Hubbard says more rap collaborations are a definite possibility for FGL in the future. Tyler says Lil Wayne is an artist he’d love to share the mic with someday.

How do you feel about Country mixing with Hip Hop?

Kid Rock mixes it all up and that what this song is all about! Here’s a cool video I found of Kid Rock & Bob Seger doing “Forever” live onstage together!
