I met the most INCREDIBLE and beautiful woman this weekend, who gives ‘inspirational‘ a whole new meaning. You would never guess that this gorgeous young woman in the photo above here with me, has underwent 16 rounds of chemotherapy and five surgeries when she was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago at age 31. You would also never guess that after a yearlong remission,  Jill Brzezinski-Conley was diagnosed with incurable bone cancer, a stage 4 incurable breast cancer that metastasized in her sternum.

Jill is on a mission now, to not only inspire women, but also “show the world what cancer really looks like.”  Watch Jill’s AMAZING & INSPIRATIONAL video, as she tells her courageous story, including pictures of  what breast cancer really looks like when a woman has a double mastectomy. Grab a box of tissues….while it’s not a sad video at all, I still had tears running down my face when I watched this mini-documentary about her, and “The Light That Shines”

As you can see, Jill Brzezinski-Conley is beautiful even with a gap in her shirt where her right breast used to be. And Jill wants other women to feel that way too.  Conley says during the opening of “The Light That Shines,” which is a 15-minute documentary about her, with all the AMAZING photographs by world famous photographer Sue Byrce:

“If I could change one woman’s life, I would die the happiest woman.”

You can meet Jill in person this Thursday night at the Canton Imagine Theater for a “Secret Cinema” event. This former Canton native has also created her own non-profit organization called “JIll’s Wish” to help other women and their families who are facing cancer, by minimizing their financial struggles so they can focus solely on recovery!

 “Secret Cinema” Event Details:

Thursday, September 26

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. (Raffle and auction)

Movie Event starts at 7:00 p.m.

Movie event kicks off with the local premiere of Jill’s short documentary, “The Light That Shines” (run time approx. 15 minutes), followed by a “Secret Cinema” movie, which has been chosen by Jill. It is her favorite “dog” family friendly film (Rating PG).

“The Light That Shines” already has more than 350,000 views on, and even more once it was posted on YouTube. “A woman who’s diagnosed with breast cancer or already has it, I’m sure she’s scared and she feels alone,” Brzezinski-Conley told, addressing why she decided to share her story with the world. “I didn’t want people to feel alone anymore.”

Jill’s story, along with her photos and video has gone viral, and she is currently traveling the country and speaking to women everywhere, sharing her POSITIVE message, that even without breasts, women can be and ARE beautiful! Jill told me that on October 4th, she will be going away with Kathie Lee & Hoda to film a segment for their show too, and bring her message to an even larger audience.

I am so blessed to have met this incredible young lady and Jill Brzezinski-Conley will always be an inspiration to me too!
