Keith Urban is a self-professed car enthusiast. He even lets his love for anything on four wheels be know in the song choices on his new album, Fuse. Two of the 13 even mention the word “car” in the title — “Cop Car,” “Somewhere In My Car” — while another is simply called “Red Camaro.”
Keith tells the Motor City’s own, Dr. Don Show with Rachael and Grunwald, “The car thing features heavily in a lot of my songs because I just love — I love cars. And I love listening to music in cars. I love all the ‘moments’ — all kinds of moments — that we humans experience only in cars, you know . . . as couples and arguments and makeup sessions and make-out sessions and everything. I just love everything to do with cars.”
Keith is making his way up the charts with “We Were Us,” a duet featuring Miranda Lambert.
