Rodney Atkins and his fiancee, singer/songwriter Rose Falcon, plan to get married in the next couple of weeks. The couple are currently touring together, and Rodney tells us exclusively that they will return to a favorite destination to say their “I dos.” “There’s a place where we were on the road at the end of last year and had a day down that she was out with me, and I think I was doing some dates with Alan Jackson. We had a day down, and we went fishing, and it was just a little island down in the Gulf, and I think that’s where we’re gonna go and tie the knot.”

Rodney says the nuptials will be a small affair, with just family and a few close friends. He and Rose will be married by the 87-year-old man who ran the Holston United Methodist Home for Children in Greeneville, Tennessee from which Rodney was adopted as a baby.

This will be the first marriage for Rose, 28, and the second for Rodney, 44.
