Chris Ruzzin was born with a disability that only partially hindered him, until a car accident in 2003 weakened his knees. After falling down the stairs, he is now wheelchair bound, and lost some independence. With your help and love for bowling, you can help Chris!
Friday, November 15 at Plaza Lanes in Plymouth, you can help make donations just by bowling!
Chris Ruzzin was born with a disability called arthrogryposis that affects his muscles and joints. The doctors told his parents that he would never walk. But Chris overcame that disability with his “never accept no” attitude his parents taught him. Then in April 2003, he was rear ended in a car accident, which injured his right knee. Three weeks later in May 2003, his injured knee gave out on him and he fell down the basement stairs of his Mom’s home and suffered an incomplete spinal injury and is now wheelchair bound. While he has lost some independence, we are looking to help him get it back!
Chris has always lived by the motto, “Never Accept No.”
Chris would like to regain what independence he did have prior to Jan 2012 when his knees no longer would support him on his walker or to transfer to the car. No matter what life has thrown at Chris, he always has a joy for life and wants to continue to enjoy life to the fullest. Please help Chris to regain his independence by supporting his efforts to raise funds for a wheelchair van.
