Just a month after Sugarland‘s Kristian Bush released his first solo single, “Love or Money,” the singer has revealed he’ll be hitting the road in support of his new music.

Bush’s solo dates begin on January 17 at the 30A Songwriters Festival in Northern Florida where he’ll join over 150 songwriters including Ani Difranco, Loudon Wainwright III, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Richard Thompson, Shawn Mullins, John Oates, and more.

The “Love or Money” singer will head to Asheville, North Carolina, a few days later and end his tour in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 1. Tickets go on sale Nov. 22 via his website.

In an interview with earlier this year, Bush discussed how his hiatus with Sugarland has created one of the most prolific times of his career. He’s been writing so much, he confessed he can’t turn it off.

“This is the first time in my life that I have truly felt, not just compelled, but it’s a little out of control what’s happening,” he admits. “I don’t know if I can stop it. There are times when you can turn the spigot off, and then there are times when I’m afraid I can’t.”

Bush said he has written over 200 songs for an upcoming solo album.

“In the past two years, this kind of journey has created a prolificness that is changing me somehow,” Bush said. “I don’t know if it’s permission that has done this, or opportunity, or a combination of all those things, but maybe not being on the road, and also being home and being a dad, and having a studio and having support. I now write 160, 180 songs a year, which is like four a week. I had to build a database just to hold them and remember them, and I love it. And some days it doubles. It’s a fascinating place to be right now. It’s a weird feeling.”
