Luke Bryan is excited about returning to host the 49th Annual ACM Awards with his pal Blake Shelton on April 6th in Las Vegas. Luke says he and Blake have a lot in common, not the least of which is being funny.
Luke tells us their humor is the key to success on the ACM Awards. “Me and Blake, and a lot of people in our world, have told us that we’re essentially brothers from another mother, whole-deal. Anytime we’ve been around each other, we wind up cracking each other up and drinking too long into the night. So, we’ll get out there, and I think there’s a fine line of keeping it fresh and fun and keeping it funny. And I think (we) keep it fun and have a great time with it.”
The ACM Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on CBS. Luke is currently scaling the country charts with his latest single, “Drink a Beer.”
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at Blake and Luke, otherwise known as “Bluke,” before last year’s ACM Awards.
