American Idol winner Phillip Phillips will also perform.

The NFL announced today that country trio The Band Perry will perform as part of the Super Bowl XLVIII pregame show taking place Sunday, Feb. 2 in Rutherford, N.J. The show will also feature American Idol winner Phillip Phillips, along with performances by members of the casts of Broadway productions Jersey Boys and Rock of Ages.

The artists are performing as part of an NFL Tailgate Party, and portions of their performances will be televised live that same day on Fox. The Super Bowl halftime show this year will feature Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
