Josh Thompson seems to know a thing or two about beer. In 2009, he put his name on the country map with his debut single “Beer on the Table,” which had him declaring that beer was his reason for working. And with his latest single, “Cold Beer with Your Name on It,” Thompson revisits what is obviously a favorite subject, this time offering to share a frosty one with an old flame.

“It’s a recurring theme,” he recently admitted to about his beer-centric tracks. “My mother’s very proud.”

In the video for the song, Thompson is reminiscing about his female friend, who has left him for the glamour and glitz of Hollywood. He’s hoping she’ll come back to him and share a beer. But does she? Watch the video below to find out.

The song appears on Thompson’s upcoming album Turn It Up, which is due out April 1).
