A member of the Duck Dynasty clan is looking to make his mark in politics. Do people who are famous, or have a ‘famous name’ have a better chance at winning an election? Clint Eastwood easily won the election to become the Mayor in Carmel California, Arnold Schwarzenegger became the Governor in the same state. So my guess would be yes, having a famous name gives politicians an edge in an election.

While Zach Dasher, who is the nephew of Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty does not have the same ‘famous last name,’ everyone is already talking about the ‘Duck Dynasty clan member’ who announced on Monday morning that he’s running for Congress in Louisiana’s 5th District.

Dasher says, ” I am seeking to represent the people of the 5th District in Congress so that I can effectively fight the big government intellectual elitists in Washington.”

Would you be more likely or less likely to vote for someone who is famous, or related to someone famous?
