Luke Bryan played the first of his two sold out shows at DTE Energy Music Theater and hung out on his bus with The Dr. Don Show with Rachael and Grunwald. They got to talking about Luke and his now infamous fall on stage… multiple times. Rachael Hunter asked Luke how he explains the falls to his son Bo, Luke says, “He looked at me like “How in the Hell did you survive that?” which I looked at like that too. It’s neat that he is old enough now to realize how dangerous that could of been. My leg hit a metal railing under the stage and split my leg.” Luke goes on to say that the stitches are out and the scar is a little whimpy scar.

Luke was recently voted People Magazine’s Sexiest Man in Country Music. When asked how he’s handling the title, he says, “I still double take when walking through an airport and seeing me on People. It’s fun. Caroline and I laugh about it, she feels privileged to lay next to the sexiest stud in country!”

Not one to waste the perfect opportunity, Dr. Don asked Luke if there was any tips he could give to he and Grunwald on maybe being the next sexiest man in country music. Luke said jokingly, “Just start over. Move to China, study reincarnation and come back as me.”

We also play a round of “In Your Pants” with Luke. In Your Pants is where the artist takes their set list and adds the word In Your Pants to the end of the song title. Luke had some fun with this and the song titles were pretty funny!
