It would be totally understandable for someone like Dierks Bentley to be forgetful after getting ‘Drunk On A Plane,” but many  completely sober people have forgotten personal items after a flight when departing the airplane.  Have you ever had that heart-thumping moment when you realized you left something on the plane? If so, you’re not alone.

A whopping two-thirds of air travelers have left something on the plane. I guess I do not feel so bad, as I have left stuff on a plane numerous times, and each and every time I tell myself, “Don’t RUSH to get off the plane without double or triple checking to make sure you got all your stuff!”  In fact, I have left 4 of the 6 most common items left behind and MORE than once too!
While most items can be recovered or replaced easily enough, some things are irreplaceable, regardless of the cost. The items most commonly left on the plane:
-Book or Magazines

-Mobile phone

-Glasses or sunglasses

-Passport or identity documents

What lengths have you went to in order to recover lost items on a plane?
