The Hank Williams biopic I Saw the Light has finally started production and is filling out its cast list.

Actors David Krumholtz (The JudgeNumb3rs), Wrenn Schmidt (Boardwalk EmpireThe Americans), James DuMont (Get On UpDallas Buyers Club) and Josh Pais (The Good WifeLaw & Order: SVU) have been added to the cast.

According to Billboard, Krumholtz will play New York journalist James Dolan, who interviews Williams. Meanwhile, Pais will play Dore Schary, the former production president of MGM who tries to persuade Williams in the direction of a film career.

DuMont will play the role of a music promoter and mayor named WB Nolan while Schmidt will play Bobbie Jett, who is the mother of Williams’ daughter. She was born five days after his death.
