But I must admit, that texting is how I now communicate with my grown kids, about 90% of the time.
For younger parents looking to connect with their college-aged or twenty-something kids, that is not a problem. Texting is the most dominant form of non-personal communication for all Americans under the age of 50.

 How do you feel about texting your kids instead of talking to them?
