Is there anything Miranda Lambert can’t do? She’s an innkeeper, a store owner, a shoe designer and the CMA’s reigning Female Vocalist of the Year. But she still has goals. In a new interview out yesterday with Marie Claire, Miranda reveals an interest in animation. She says, “The latest thing on my bucket list is doing a cartoon voiceover. I love cartoons and, obviously, I would have to be the country character in whatever I play. But I’d like to do that at some point.”
Miranda Lambert also wants to be the first female country singer to throw big tailgates before her shows. “I would love to be the first female that, I don’t think any of the girls in our industry yet have had like big time tailgating happen. So, maybe people will get in the spirit with the airstream and the flamingos and the Bud Light Platinum and whatever else, the blonde wigs and dying their pet silver and whatever they want to do (laughs).”
Miranda returns to the road for the Certified Platinum tour on January 15th in Evansville, Indiana. She’s up for four Grammy awards, including Best Country Album for Platinum. CBS will air the Grammy Awards live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 8th.
