Miranda Lambert is doggone crazy about her 4-legged friends, and she puts her money where her mouth is! It’s no secret that Lambert is a huge animal lover, and just last month alone, her non-profit MuttNation Foundation distributed over $200,000 to animal shelters in each of the 50 United States!

Miranda-and-Bev-LambertMiranda says about her generous donation that will benefit all the animals in shelters all across America:

“I feel so passionately about helping all animals and I’m thrilled that we have once again been able to give to phenomenal shelters all across the country. The people at these shelters do such amazing work day-in and day-out and are truly heroes for the animals.””

Lambert, 31, co-founded the her non-profit MuttNation Foundation back in 2009 with her mom Bev, and to date it has raised over $1.5 million in support of animals.

If you follow Miranda on Twitter…you can see that she is all about her furry-friends! I think it is beyond AWESOME when celebrities like Miranda use their celebrity to help those in need, including our 4-legged friends!
