This topic disgusts me and I think it’s time we all stop accepting bad behavior and stand up for what is right. The horrible trend on social media of ‘fat shaming’ is NOT acceptable or OK. Celebrities are not the only ones who are being targeted by haters who use social media to bully and pick on those who may not be of average weight and size. This ‘ugly behavior’ seems to be getting worse and I personally am sick of it.

Take a second to do a Google search for ‘fat shaming’  and you will find 243,000 items that pop up. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and I think there are so many more of us who despise this despicable behavior that targets those who are deemed as ‘overweight.’

Haters tried to body shame Iggy Azalea so she shut down her Twitter account, and even the talented and beautiful  Kelly Clarkson has been targeted by a nasty hater who used Twitter to attack Kelly over her weight and size. I applaud Clarkson for taking the high road and not letting an ugly stranger get her down, in her public response to the public attack, saying:

“I’ve just never cared what people think. It’s more if I’m happy and I’m confident and feeling good, that’s always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family — I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”

Body shaming of any kind is not acceptable in our world.  Beauty truly comes from within, and some of the ‘best looking’ people on the outside, become instantly ugly once they open their mouth!

The best defense is to dismiss haters and stand up for yourself just the way you are. You are BEAUTIFUL just the way you are and don’t let anyone else judge you or make you feel like you’re not!

God made us all ‘perfectly perfect’ in every way! Embrace who HE made you to be and don’t let ‘miserable haters’ ever steal your joy!
