It starts with a desert landscape and the familiar Star Wars theme.

And then: “The Force is strong in my family,” a low voice says.

“My father has it,” as we hear the distinct and always creepy breathing sounds of Darth Vader, and we see what looks like his smashed helmet. We hear him, but never see him. Of course we know, it’s Luke!

“I have it. My sister has it. You have that power, too.” But who is he talking to?

Then we see some other tantalizing but quick scenes, some including Finn (played by John Boyega), who was prominently featured in the first trailer when it was released last year.

Finally, we see a chase scene involving the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. Yep, the Millennium Falcon! And then other voice: “Chewie,” he says. “We’re home,”and then we get a brief glimpse of Han Solo and Chewbacca, who responds as he usually does, with a howl.

Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18.
