Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell‘s Old Yellow Moon collaboration album gets a followup this year with The Traveling Kind—and the first taste of what it will sound like is here.

“Bring It on Home to Memphis,” released today (May 4), is the first song from Crowell and Harris’ new collab, due out later this month.

The track is an up-tempo jaunt in line with the duo’s earlier material together, Crowell grabbing the first verse while Harris’ spoken vocal takes over the second. Both voices mesh on a rollicking chorus.

“I wrote the song with Larry Klein about 23 years ago and I was looking for a way to do it,” Crowell told Billboardwho premiered the song, about the track.
