It’s official, Bill Murray will once again be helping you ring in the holiday season this December on Netflix.
Recently, it was announced Murray was working on a Christmas special for the streaming service, set to be directed by his Lost in Translation director Sofia Coppola, but now there’s proof.
This morning (May 21), Netflix dropped a 24-second teaser for A Very Murray Christmas that shows a rather pouty faced Murray, wearing a pair of reindeer ears—so he’s clearly not a total scrooge—staring out the window to a little light jazz.
While the clip doesn’t give anything away, it does reveal that the special will hit Netflix in December. No exact date has been given as of yet.
It was previously reported that Murray’s Christmas special would have the actor playing a version of himself who’s trying to put on a TV show that unfortunately gets interrupted by a snow storm. Hilarity ensues, we assume as he tries to figure out how the show will go on.
Tie undone, looking a little sad in this clip, we’re assuming he’s going to need some cheering up from some of his famous friends before Christmas arrives.
